HISTORY OF INDUSTRIAS DURMI
Industrias Durmi was created more than 60 years ago in Sitges; province of Barcelona. Traditionally based on carpentry, the company progressed and leaded its sector. In 1995 the Adell Sardá family buyed the totality of the actions, and nowadays, it’s the second generation of the family who administers the company.
Between 1970 and 1990, Durmi leaded the PVC, wood and iron sector. Nowadays, the aluminium and the wood are its most successful products.
ECONOMIC EVOLUTION
From 2004, Industrias Durmi obtains an excellent growing, getting on 30% a year. Nowadays, one of the aims is the expansion into Europe and the Arab Emirates.
